"Really enjoyed our stay at the George The location is good, a short walk to both high and low town areas of Bridgnorth town centre. Parking available opposite the hotel at the severn valley railway £4 for 24 hours. Room was very nice if I'm being hyper critical the bathroom could do with a little TLC The real bonus is the restaurant in the hotel that is as long as you enjoy Nepalese/Indian food really tasty and very reasonable price. The ladies who run the hotel are really nice and hard...

"Staff were very polite and friendly. Car park was full (had the last place) and the bar was very noisy - a lot of people and it was Friday. The meal was good “pub grub” and the local ale was wonderful - Wye Valley brewery."

"1st time my brother & I have stayed here. We were well impressed. Our room was lovely & warm. Beds comfy. Plenty of tea , coffee etc. large LCD TV in the room. Bathroom was a bit small but acceptable. Given the price of £63 we were more than happy & would book to stay here again."

"Check in was 15:00. I arrived at 16:20 and the room was still not ready. I complained to the woman at the bar which serves as the reception, she apologised, asked me if I wanted a drink while I waited and then tried to charge me for it! Not a good start to my stay. However, the room itself was lovely, clean, comfortable, modern and stylish. Extremely good value for the price and literally opposite the train station. Entry to the hotel is via an app you have to download, but it worked well...
