"The location of Hotel des lacs is perfect for someone who wants to be in Chamonix for UTMB because downtown is only a short walk giving easy access to race activities and restaurants. The Hotel is located across the street from a beautiful park with a little lake. Our room was clean quiet and simple. Breakfast was available for a small additional charge. The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt at home."

"The Hotel is at a brilliant location for ski in/out! The room was simple but functional- everything worked fine apart from the heating ( underfloor and not to regulate for us) which was too warm! There is a good skiroom with lockers! The breakfast and dinners were very good with plenty of choices for starters/ salad/ soup/ great choices for mains and cheese and wine ob tap!
