"For solo traveller like me, the facilities, mostly everything was good. I like the pantry the most and the shared toilets and bathrooms were clean at anytime. This place is quiet. The halal fast food shops, the Muslim friendly shop, even Tesco are just walking distance. "

"We had a lovely couple of nights stay, it was very peaceful and secluded at the cabin which was perfect. We were pretty much left to our own devices which was quite nice, although we knew the wardens were on site if anything was needed. Lovely set of amenities provided so we were able to cook for ourselves. "Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. Breakfast was cereal and toast type. I was hoping for full breakfast but was not offered. Mirfield also a nice town/village, just avoid school closing time as very busy"
