"The Oasis Resort was a great stop for our one-night stay in Gulfport. It is literally across the street from the beach (you do have to cross a busy road, but it is lighted) and is easily accessed from town. It is a large, clean property and would be perfect for anyone with small kids. The staff was exceptional. My only reason for 4 stars is the linens were dirty. Several towels and one of the pillows had stains on them. Given we were just passing through, we didn't ask for replacements. Overall...

"The stay was acceptable. I like that they don't have carpet. The AC was very loud and not very cold. Even tho the hotel cousins to be pet-friendly, there were "No Pets Allowed" signs on the front door and the check-in desk. There is a big deposit required as well as a fee per pet per night. I didn't know about this extra cost until I checked in."

"I wanted a down stairs room the attendent said none was available the room she put us in was moist and damp and had a smell like milldew we told the clerk and she moved us to frist floor with no problem the next day i got a headache and stomach ache the rest of the trip because of the roomdont know if i will come back to stay at that hotel"
