"It’s a 40 minute walk down hill, along the cobbled sidewalks, right the way through town to get to the hotel. It’s an old hotel, and I would say it’s in need of attention. Very, very narrow, steep stairs to climb with luggage. Noisy in the hallways as people enter and leave their rooms. And if you get the single bedroom, beware the distance between the toilet and the wall is so tight, you will have to sit sideways. Also the absolute hardest bed I’ve ever slept in. Honestly felt like cement....

"The hotel was in an amazing location and the room was clean with a modern en-suite. It could have been so much better with a few simple additions. There was a shared outside roof terrace area but no seating. A kettle would have been appreciated. The man in reception was reasonably helpful but always doing lots of jobs at once. We asked for a glass so we could have a drink in our room but he said no so we had to use the paper cups. Breakfast was available at an additional cost and the food was...
