"The house has a fantastic pool and pool area and dining area which we all enjoyed spending a lot of time in. However, the area had a lot of mosquitoes which were problematic at night time. The listing did not say the neighbouring house had two dogs (although very lovely and friendly) which were often in the garden and we had to remove their mess a few times which wasn’t very nice. The wifi did not work throughout the house - only in the living room. We also had a problem with a bat in the attic...

"The property was very comfortable and well equipped, a 15 minute walk to the centre of Tremolat across the bridge. The garden and field between the house and river are lovely -lots of birds and butterflies. The tables inside and in the garden were great for our party of 5 and would be fine for 6 to 8. As described, there are two master bedrooms with ensuites, one of which is located on the top floor and the other on the bottom floor (i.e., two floors apart). "Nous avons été très satisfait de notre séjour dans cette très belle maison située litéralement au pied d'un chateau et tout près de la rivière Dordogne. L'emplacement est à la fois calme mais aussi à dix minutes en voiture des services offert dans les petits villages aux alentours. De plus, nous avons bien apprécié l'air clumatisé dans la canicule. En bref, nous la recommandons fortement!"
