"This property was okay. Depending on what your plans are, the place was okay when it comes to convenience. It’s an average of $5.50 via uber to casco Viejo. My tours picked me up without any problems. The area is walkable and some of the popular cafes in the old town have chains within 20 minutes of the hotel. That was nice since I didn’t want to always go to the old town for a coffee. The mall is 20 minutes walking or 5 minutes drive. If you’re a solo traveler, this place is okay. No matter if...

"Excellent hostel, located in the heart of the city. The bathrooms are clean because the staff checks them several times a day. Space is limited inside the rooms, but the curtains on each bed allowed me to have the necessary privacy. I was really surprised by the quality of the accommodation since it is very affordable. I will stay here every time I visit Panama."

"This place is trash! The paint was bubbling on the walls. There was mold every where. It looks like it is straight out of the 50s with no up grades. They said they have breakfast buffet but I could not find it. Overall I will NEVER stay here again. The beds were horrible and lumpy."

"The staff at panama central are all very helpful and accommodating...the pancake breakfast was a real treat! They were also kind enough to look after my luggage when I went to San blas for 2 days, at no extra charge. "Booked a private room for my girlfriend and I. In Panama City, most people want and expect air conditioning. But our room only had a fan. The manager explained that the website stated that there is only a fan in the room. The manager also stated that for the price, we should not expect AC. This may be true but guests should not have to assume. She would not let me checkout with and receive a refund. Fortunately(?), I was able to rent a whole dormitory room at a price upgrade.
