"This hotel is run by an older Japanese couple and feels like staying in someone’s home. The motel is basically a Motel 6 in style but much cleaner and nicer. Although I speak limited Japanese I felt welcomed.The beds are Western style and very comfortable. The room was very clean. Breakfast was tea, coffee, or apple juice and delicious croissants. "The views were amazing! We had a Japanese style room with a view on the water - it was mesmerising. You can fall asleep while listening to the waves. Overall, the property is a bit out dated, but there is a lot to do (onsens, shopping for souvenirs, bar, drumming show). The location is walking distance to the town and cafes, and the lantern museum on the shore. "
