"Rooms should not be rented there. Cold water evening and morning for showers. Host attendant mentioned he had forgotten to turn the water on… it looks like other guests will have had the same feeling :-( Very old hotel, especially the bathroom."

The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and the outside areas of the property are excellent. The breakfast is amazingly good too!"

"The shoe box size 2 bed apartment we were given looked nothing like any of the pictures and was very tired and shabby. Beds were used for sofas with well worn covers. There is an extra charge for everything other than parking which is included. We paid extra for sheets for the beds which of course we then had to make ourselves. "Situated in the small village of Albaron this is both a small hotel and a restaurant and is good at both. Ideally situated on the edge of the Camargue the rooms are vey modern with all you could ask for in a small hotel. On top of that the food in the restaurant was excellent with a decent choice especially if you like seafood and it was good value."

"I trully apreciate the stay at hotel Abalone for its very friendly staff, cleanliness and security policy (the main entry of the hotel closes after 22.00 and only the hotel tenants and staff can acces, by a private entry through the car parking of the hotel). Two steps away from the train station, it has perfectly served my needs. Also, the town center with the main tourist spots is located not far away."
