"Great spot away from the busy Tokyo area. The rooms and the hotel is special in its own way and has a lot of character. Felt like being in my grandparents home. "The hosts are great and goos people. The breakfast is good. It is very close to the slopes for skiing. The walls are very thin and neighbors can be very loud. The rooms are very small and the space could be utilized a lot better, it can get very cramped especially with luggage. "The owners are so friendly and helpful it was nice and quiet and a very short walk to the gondola for snowboarding it is a stunning place and feels like you are at home It’s very warm in winter with fires going and I was travelling with boys and they loved it Great location and amazing meals the owners went out of their way to help us as it was our first time in Japan. Highly recommended this accommodation to everyone when we come back we will stay here again ❤️"

"Wonderful stay! I was a solo traveler staying in hakuba for the snowboarding and I met new friends during my stay at this hotel! Theres a nice community lounge where people get warm and share stories about their day! Its also a 13min walk from Skyline Gondola and has many bars, restaurants, and food truck along the way!"

About 10 minutes walk from sakka lifts at Happo and hotel runs shuttle services to and from the slopes each day either direct to Happo, goryu or bus terminal and then bus take you onwards to the many other Hakuba slopes. Breakfast buffet is quite good. Onsen on site is great. One of the best places I've stayed. "
