"Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!"

"ゴールデンウィークに小学生の子供連れ家族3人で宿泊しました。ゴールデンウィークな上に函館市内でイベント開催の関係でホテル料金が高騰している中、とても良心的な価格で助かりました。 お部屋は、お家の一階をお借りする感じですが、玄関も別で、夜間の外出もできました。 普通のホテルと違って、リビングと寝室があり、広々しているのでゆっくりできました。 アメニティもホテル以上に揃っていて、電子レンジや大きな冷蔵庫、アイロンまであって今度は、長期滞在にも良さそうだなと感じました。 オーナー夫妻は、とてもお人柄が良くアットホームな滞在となりました。"

But that said it is literally 500m away from the train station exit. So really hard not to find. The place is clean, and friendly. With recommendations made at the start for the onsen.
