"The staff was kind and friendl. Many spoke enough English to help me out. The food was delicious. And the rooftop hot tub was a dream. The hallways and room are a little muggy at first, and the smell of wood is strong, but once I turned down the ac and spent enough time it was all fine. "

So all we could hear was everyone coming in and out of the hotel, the lockers being opened up to place ones shoes in in the foyer, the cars on the road (our window was on the street). The windows had no frosting on them so we couldn't even open the blinds as everyone would be able to see right into our room. Very basic amenities, for the price we paid, we were very disappointed. "This place was a mixed dorm but the beds had curtains so it was nice. The staff were helpful and there was a simple breakfast which was welcome. The atmosphere was friendly"

"Good value for money. The name is very deceptive, as the hotel is on a canal that leads to an industrial harbor. The room is very large with a 5 star bathroom. The air conditioning and lighting were good but very hard to figure out, as there were no English instructions."
