"Lovely stay on top of a hill overlooking Lake Mauro park and the nearby village. Tent rooms are well maintained and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast with a view over the hill is beautiful! The road can be challenging: big potholes and bumps before the maintained final part, which itself is very steep."

"where told on arriving that they didnt receive an online booking and that our room included breakfast for 1 only but we had booked for 2. The following day it was acknowledged that they HAD received our online paymnet but still there was confusion over the booking and price paid. Also there was no wifi which is advertised as being there"

"On June 14th 2018, I made a hotel reservation through Expedia at Kijuura Lodge, Lake Mburo National Park, Mbarara Uganda. When I arrived, I discovered that the hotel does not exist and is a scam. A person who represented himself as the owner claimed to have never received my booking from Expedia and that the name of the hotel is “Kijuura Rock” not “Kijuura Lodge” although located at the same place. After that, I had to travel back another 300 km to my residence and my holiday was ruined. "
