"I travel a lot for work and need to stay in a a variety of places usually on a budget. I really liked this hotel. It’s a traditional hotel with all the facilities you can ask for. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean & tidy. It was an all round pleasant stay. I’d definitely book again. "

"I had a comfy bed. Heating was easily controlled. Very basic accommodation but had good tea/ coffee facilities. Very small shower but adequate. Seemed to be a lovely popular pub in a lovely area and a footpath were you could go for a walk but I wasnt there long enough to enjoy any of these things. There is some frequent noise from planes going to Gatwick but I took my earplugs. "Perfectly comfortable stay for a budget price. I stayed on the top floor which had a lovely countryside view. The room faced the High Street and although the traffic noise wasnt a problem lorries/HGVs were noticeable. All the amenities you expect and need, the room was very clean, comfortable and warm. The shower wasnt very powerful and couldnt be fixed high enough to use without holding the head in my hand to shower - and the shower curtain rail fell down, so one or two niggles but it didnt...
