"Check in was easy and efficient, staff was friendly even with a late arrival time. Room was clean, but needed some repair and it was quite chilly upon arrival due to the tile floors and no carpet."

"Admittedly, the property is old, and has its share of maintenance issues. However, the hotel was very clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and again. Compared to one of my co-workers who paid $100 more for his room, I got a bargain!! "

"Check in was easy and the location was wonderful for a place to stay near IWU and Taylor University. The room was clean but not spotless. Some dog food left on the floor from a previous guest. The bottom of the bed had metal pieces hanging out that I kept running into. The towels were small and the shower was hot but low on pressure. Breakfast was good. Overall I would stay here again. "

"My door didnt shut correctly, had to make sure it was closed by pulling it shut really hard. Stench of smoke in the hall. Sheets were clean. Did get accommodations i requested. "

"We stayed in the king suite. It was clean and spacious. It's not nice to have a sitting area. But the TV can't be seen from the couch since it's in a cabinet. The pull out sofa was TERRIBLE! Thin "mattress" with springs poking you. Bring your own bedding, because the blankets are super light. Traffic noise was terrible, so best to be on opposite side of hotel. Breakfast was great. Manager was helpful and nice!"

I looked on my credit card statement, and was charged on-line and again in person but it was returned. As for the room itself; The floors were all hardwood, looked nice but was very slippery coming in from the snow. The room was "dated" and the sheets on the bed had old stains. No frills, good for a pinch

"As I was checking in, the manager was a bit gruff. I had made the reservation on-line and prepaid, but he insisted that I swipe my credit card and that the on-line payment was just a "holder". I looked on my credit card statement, and was charged on-line and again in person but it was returned. As for the room itself; The floors were all hardwood, looked nice but was very slippery coming in from the snow. The room was "dated" and the sheets on the bed had old stains. I found the bed itself was uncomfortable, I couldn't sleep. I could also smell cigarette smoke in my room when I first got there but it subsided. The soap and lotion dispensers were full, nice smelling soap."
