"The only good thing about this hotel is the staff's friendliness. Apart from that, nothing in it really works. You shouldn't do this hike unless you're in good shape or have acclimated to the high altitude, but it's so worth it. I went with a tour company from Huaraz. Getting to Laguna 69, after passing Llanguanuco and meadows and cows and ruins was incredibly rewarding. It's a beautiful place - don't miss it!
