"I stayed in a renovated room. Staffs very nice. The room was basic however good value for price. I liked the renovation efforts definately no frills but adds a freshness, simplicity and modern feel to the motel room. I noticed lots of noise from upstairs and tennis court across from garden however other guests were considerate and nil sport or noise late at night. The fridge was humming (there was a single bed in the lounge area) which was a bit annoying so i would not reccomend that area for...

"When we first arrived, the office location was quite confusing. It turns out the office and motel was next door and was under a different name, the Airport Goldstar Motel. When we finally found the office and checked in the desk clerk asked if we wanted a nice, newly updated room for only $20 more than we had already paid. I agreed. "Great stay"

"There was a cockroach inside the cupboard under the sink. We called the landline to ask for an insect spray but since there was no staff in the afternoon, they cannot provide one until the next day. So, we chose to buy an insect spray ourselves. There was no hair dryer. Some fixture need refurbishment like the bathroom vanity. Overall, it was a good stay. The staff in the morning where friendly."

"Absolutely perfect location, great views of downtown Auckland, just one street from trendy restaurants, modern/contemporary, secure parking, quiet. Two slightly smaller chairs on the outside balcony would have been nice rather than one large chair, and just one keycard was inconvenient for a couple. Would stay again for sure."
