"It is an historic hotel with many antiquities in the décoration. The location is perfect near the canal. It is quiet but there is no escalator and the room was on the 5th floor. The beakfast was included and we liked the food. But ithe price for a night is a bit expensive. The owner was a gentleman ."

This meant that to have anything like an acceptable temperature in the room, the door had to be left open all night. However close you are to your travelling companion, you are unlikely to want to be in such close and open...

Unfortunately I felt the condition of the property lacked care as there were several things broken (including the front door lock to the building) and there was a certain smell of vomit in the shower which I messaged the host about and they did not return my message about. I wouldn't recommended it for more than one person. It was quite cramped trying to fit two people and luggage in one space. If you have the chance, upgrade to the larger room.
