"Freshly refurbished, clean and tidy, decent shower with soap and shampoo provided, central location in the town. Not a huge room, but adequate for a few nights. No wardrobe, but there were a few pegs to hang stuff on, and a few small open shelves. Some noise from folks leaving the pub quite late, also traffic noise from the A5. I was worried about how to access the property, but instructions arrived by SMS mid afternoon and worked fine. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. "Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com"
