"Accommodation was expensive but as we was only staying for 1 night we thought we'd spoil ourselves. Accommodation was 3 steps(I counted) to the bar/restaurant which was beautifully furnished,and the restaurant overlooked the harbour.I would say probably the best seats in the house to enjoy our evening meal,and gorgeous Yorkshire breakfast.Definitely will stay here again if there's a show we want to go to at the Spa, ideal location."

"SCAM!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Paid for my sons birthday weekend away (4y.o) drove 2.5 hours to get here and the host didnt send us entry code to the apartment so couldnt get in. Expedia confirmed all booking, tried to contact the host but blocking my calle. Texts delivered and left voicemails asking to call us but had no reply. Took our money and put a case with expedia and they refused to refund ao had to contact fraud department with my bank and pay for a hotel late at night instead!! Ruined...

"The cottage is in a lovely location, very close to Filey, with some lovely walks around the village. The quirky Ship Inn (100 yds away) provides wonderful food and a very warm welcome. The 'little Stithy' cottage was very comfortable, however, we felt it didn't need the kitchen in the same room. We were kept awake most of the night from the humming of the fridge and the bright timer light on the microwave! A tea towel remedied this. St Andrew's Church, Ulrome, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The small church at Ulrome, dedicated to St Andrew by 1420, much of which was rebuilt in a 13th century style by Armfield & Bottomley of Middlesbrough and Whitby in 1876. The tower was heightened and altered to designs by Brodrick, Lowther & Walker of Hull in 1904.
