"The only bad hotel experience we had in Uganda. Upon arrival, the night receptionist could not find trace of our booking (ok, this can happen) but addressed the situation very disrespectfully. First, by suggesting that we may be liars or in the wrong hotel. When the manager joined us and after again long discussion, he called the IT who drove to the hotel, and who acknowledged it was their mistake not ours. Yet, despite this the manager kept us waiting until the IT solved the problem with...

"The hotel is not up to date to be able to receive payment from Expedia. We arrived and they did not have our booking or payment - despite paying upon booking here. Expedia was helpful to send a refund, but do not book this hotel online. Otherwise, it is a basic place."

"We love staying at Lillian Towers. The staff is helpful and the restaurant is high quality and tasty food. They would benefit from a few updates, like their air conditioning units. But, we will always return when we are in Uganda."

"The hotel had no knowledge of "Hotels.com" booking arrangement. After making payments online via Hotels.com, and reserved a cottage, on arrive all cottages were fully booked and on top of it, was asked to pay for an alternative room. Since it was late in the night, had no option but to pay and stay the night. Both Hotels.com and 291 Suites were horrible. It would be good if Hotels.com refunded my money!"
