"My husband and I were on vacation visiting family and friends in Perú. Suites Larco 656 had everything we could ask for. We had a nice view to Avenida Larco. The suite had a big dining/living room, a bedroom and a nice bathroom. We also had a refrigerator and a microwave and a sink, so we could eat fresh fruit that we bought in Metro, which is around the corner from where we were. The reservation included free breakfast, so we did save money. The staff were very nice. There is a very nice area...

"Enjoyed my stay here! Really beautiful building with a lot of original features. Comfortable beds, warm showers, though could do with more bathrooms and the one in the dorm I stayed in was very small. Lots of spaces to sit and chill. Staff very helpful and friendly. Central to Barranco area (across the road from a supermarket!) and cheap to get a taxi elsewhere in Lima. Do take earplugs - the street outside is noisy!"

"We were booked into this hotel by Orbitz as part of a flight reservation, a hotel for a few hour stop prior to a 3:40 AM flight out of Lima Peru. The hotel had no record of our Orbitz reservation, and so would have charged us their full rate, rather than the highly discounted rate promised by Orbitz as part of the flight package. "The pictures used on Expedia for the rooms represent the room in its "tidiest state", but when you actually are in one of the rooms, the interior is in much worse shape (walls/beddding). The bathroom section has a toilet that barely has room for legs because a wall is in the way. At night mosquitoes can come in and so do cockroaches. While I am not scared of either, the mosquitoes are definitely annoying. While if you have command of Spanish, you can talk with the receptionist but if you don't...
