"The Woodstock Inn & Resort is the quintessential New England inn. Walk in the lobby and you are greeted by a large warm fire. The staff at all levels were gracious and helpful. The room was large, well decorated and extremely comfortable. Great location to walk downtown even with single digit temperatures. The shops were expensive but worth browsing & buying. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Equinox. We enjoyed the meals we had there and the general atmosphere. Front desk staff on Sunday, 2/16, could have been a bit more pleasant and/or helpful. One of the women at the desk was not particularly friendly or helpful in terms of what do with kids in the area during a storm. "This was a great place to stay with my family of 4. We went skiing at Crotched Mountain, Okemo and Sunapee while we were there and enjoyed being relatively close to so many mountains. Complaints about the hotel are minimal. The heat makes annoying noises at night and we could have used some extra blankets but overall it was great and we will be back."

"I have stayed here a few times. A few notes that drove my rating: - I love having hot/cold breakfast free on-site. - We tried the on-site restaurant for dinner and it was good and reasonably priced. Nice to not have to walk to the Village (where some of the food is not so great and overpriced) on a cold night. - The person who checked us in was a bit rude.
