Beth also changed my room to my liking so thank you Beth so much for being personable and professional. Kathy was a ball of energy and I'm sure she's great to have your front of the house staff. "The property is older, located on a very busy road. No elevator visible. The check in couhter was covered in plexiglass for protection not sure. Toilet was dirty upon check in. I can tell they have tried to make upgrades but the fixtures are rusty. It is a basic hotel nothing fancy. Due to our flight I did not ask if or when breakfast is served nor was it mentioned upon checkin. "

"I had to go ask for fresh towels after several days. The tiny coffee pot didn’t have the glass carafe and the front desk didn’t have any replacements although a housekeeper offered me a skillet. I went to Target and bought myself a new coffee pot"

"The front desk attendants were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were great. However, my air conditioner was not working. The egineer was quick to try and fix it but it still didn’t work. House keeping brought a fan which made it worse. By midnight it was so hot I couldn’t breathe. The night manager was quick in changing rooms for me on the same floor and even brought the new room key to my old room. "

"OMG...this is the best of the best hotels EVER!!! I highly recommend Placemakr for your hotel stay. Altho it might be a little ways away from the National Mall, one can always take the transit bus into the attractions, if one chooses not to drive. Communication - all via text messaging - was seamless. We just needed the PIN to get in and out of the property. Rooms were clean Kitchen was clean Bathrooms were clean And the hotel even came with clothes washer and dryer!!! So at the end...

"It was a small room but a nice roo. Walkable to Wawa's, CVS, and Jimmy John's. Bus too the main museums strip. Over all a nice pkace to stay. Lovely staff. Very helpful. LGBTQ friendly. (Queer. Stayed with my partener. No one flinched.)💜"

"The service was great. Front desk & staff attentiveness were highlights. The free muffins and juice/coffee for breakfast was a nice touch. Location was in a quiet area and felt safe. Only drawback was there were a few gnats in the room on my first night."
