"We stayed at The Mantra Hotel for 5 nights and enjoyed it from the moment we arrived. It’s locally owned and the staff were amazing, unfortunately we didn’t get the names except for John. They were always friendly and greeted you with a smile. Although it wasn’t on the beach, our walk was a quick 5 minute walk across the street and was never an issue. I loved how small and quaint the hotel was, it was compact but at the same time felt so cozy and homey…the seating areas by reception and a bar...

"Nothing special about the hotel. Not too far from the beach. Rooms on the back face Big Buddha (see my picture). Room was spacious. Safebox was not working properly. Massage salon on the property. Restaurant across. Budget place to crash for a day or so. "

"We stayed at the property in July 2019 for the first night of a 9 day trip to Phuket. We were expecting to move into another accommodation, but our kids liked being at Nonnee so much, we stayed almost our entire time in the area at the property. It was low season- and we had the property much to ourselves, but it was great. It's a short motorbike to Kata, Kata Noi or Karon beaches & the Kata Night Market.
