"The purpose for our visit was to relax quietly after a busy 6 days in Tokyo and Kyoto and experience a traditional Japanese ryokan accommodation and that’s exactly what we got. Our room could not have been more spacious (we did have the largest room) with an indoor balcony with two chairs that looked over the small garden, a large sleeping space and separate private bathroom and porch area. "This resort appears to be popular with families with little kids. We got a room with 2 beds and 2 futons so it was larger than the usual futon only rooms. It had a bathroom but no shower, with expectations that you would shower at the onsen. They had free parking which was nice. The breakfast was the best buffet breakfast of our trip with lots of items to choose from. "
