"It looked a little old/unkept when we drove up. People hanging in the parking lot of the store next door. However, office area was clean and fresh smelling. A restaurant attached to the building that looked popular and a Wendy’s across the street. Room was surprisingly clean and looks recently remodeled. Beds were not the most comfortable but we slept good -quiet area. Only complaint is the soap dispensers- very little comes out and if you have long thick hair it might take awhile to get enough...

"Close to the AT, so used this as a spot to refuel and refresh. Accommodations were nice, suite with a sofa and chair was perfect for our needs. Next to a food store. Closest laundromat is in Galax, about 15-20 minute drive."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The people are very nice. Our hotel room felt like a cabin. Refrigerator, microwave, television, whirlpool bath, hot water, everything worked. The towels and wash rags were a little flimsy, and the floor might have been vacuumed a teeny bit better, but for the rustic feel, everything was very nice. We would definitely come back. 4-wheel drive is a very good idea!"
