The staff was friendly and accommodating. The owner has unfortunately not updated the websites and continental breakfast has not been offered since 2023, but carryout and restaurants are close by. Overall a comfortable stay.

The only thing I didn't like is the rooms I rent a non-smoking room and they put me in a smoker's most of the things destroyed a horrible smell of cigarettes and the towels smell bad

This may have been one of the worst stays. There were holes in the curtains, the lobby smelled of smoke, and the atmosphere was overall uninviting. I paid about $110 for the room and thought it was closer to a $49.99 room. It certainly needs to be updated.

They state free breakfast but had no kitchen and no breakfast. The room didnt have a coffee pot. We had to go buy one to have coffee. They only have it at 5am. Its was snowing and they didnt even have the fireplace going. There was rust on the fixtures in the room, the walls were crumbing off, and the beds and pillows were not comfortable. The only good thing was the few people working there were nice.

Very nice hotel in the great town of Mountain City
Nice little hotel nestled in the awesome town of Mountain City, TN. It’s older but well kept, clean, quiet, good breakfast and friendly folks. What more could you ask for.

Beautiful setting surrounded by mountains. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. My interaction with the guests was pleasant, and interesting as several were from other countries.
