"On the outside it appears like a nice place, but the rooms are old and rickety, the shower is very cramped, the bathrooms are on odd half levels that you have to wander around to find. I happened to have very friendly roommates for the nights I was there, and the lockers for things were very small---too small to fit any carry-on luggage in. You just have to trust that no one will go through your things. The area is close to major shopping centers, which is great because there's a lot of food...

"Really enjoyed my stay - room was at the back and very quiet. Very easy to get into the city centre - bus across the road outside Lidl to Luxembourg Place which is a good place to end up. Had a walk around the area- not many people or cars - very peaceful. Not a massive breakfast selection but nice enough . Staff very pleasant and very helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Good shower etc"

My room had windows opening into the hall and I could hear everything- the guy 2 floors away coughing all night… I also had to deal with the automatic hall lights going on and off all night. That became a problem for sleep. I felt the hotel to be safe, even if you had to take a side street then turn into an alley at the strip club (I imagine some folks...
