"The hotel was nice. We stayed in the Family room. It had a room with a big bed with shower, kitchen, and three bwds with the toilet. Typical European hotel with no AC so it got warm at night. They did provide 2 fans that were uaeful. The weird thing was when you were in the shower, it would be fine, thwn go scolding hot. You had to rurn it all the way cold or it would stay scalding hot. Nithing ro reall complain about. The location to the main square was perfect. Just a 2 min walk if that. "

"As ever with B&B, staff were great and breakfast excellent. This hotel's a bit tired though, and the shower in my room was blocked so flooded. The area around is a bit rough - but it's near a train station in a large town, so not unexpected, and not at all unsafe. It's just there are nicer areas. "We had a trouble and it was nightmare to find the location GPS took us to a surreal haunted place where the building could not match the description of the building what we booked. It was 8 pm and when I tried to call at the number it said, it is not in use. although time to contact these people was until 10pm. A local tourist helped us to find the way out. Flat and property was overall clean but too much hassle to find it."

"Despite reviews citing thin walls, we did not experience that. Yes, you can hear other guests, but only if they were talking loud or coughing, etc. The stairs are steep, and the steps are narrow. There's no elevator, but that's part of its charm. Nice room, with a good mattress, instant hot water, nice shower (the height adjustment was missing, but not an issue for me). "A nice little hotel placed on the main road into Halluin. With this there’s a little road noise but nothing serious (it’s a small town). I do wonder, in warmer weather, if the window was open, it would certainly be louder. Polish up on your French. I got through with hand gestures and basic French, but the owners, certainly the man, only speaks French. Room is comfortable, not large, but doable. Shower/bath size was at the minimum size for me but, again satisfactory. Good parking out the back....
