"Mark and his crew are the best. Beautiful property, well kept. wonderful view. Mark goes above and beyond as a host. Always there to help and his breakfast popovers and muffins are a delight. Ask in advance if you need a mini-fridge. Microwave is in the main area. Campfires and great conversations with fellow guests from all over. Breathtaking sun and moonrises. Will definitely be back!"

"This is an exceptional property, but even better service. Lori and Ginny were so kind, thoughtful, and accommodating. The breakfast and vibe of the space is fantastic. They also provide a lot of education about the house and area and truly care about keeping the history alive, and that pride shows clearly in how well the place is loved. The bed and room is very comfortable and well designed, and the common areas are beautifully renovated."

"We loved our stay at the Oak Cottage! The home has everything needed for a perfect stay: comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen,and beautiful bathrooms with wonderful showers. But the most special thing about this home is it's location. There is a large yard with a tree & water view, providing a very private and natural setting. Wander down to the shore and you will see fish, crabs and birds. In the evening we saw several wild turkeys and a family of deer. Peaceful - quiet - relaxing. ...
