"Our host Cathy and Carl were wonderful. Cathy presented delicious breakfast which included freshly baked scones and blueberry muffins, fruit platter and omelet with either fresh brewed coffee or numerous tea choices. The historic property is beautifully furnished with many antiques and period pieces. "

"This property was absolutely beautiful. It is very quiet and peaceful. Dont stay here if you are wanting a lively stay. This place is great if you want peace and quiet. The views are spectacular and the grounds are meticulously cared for. The kitchen is open for breakfast, and serves delicious light options. Dining and shopping are about 10 mins away. The rooms are spacious and super comfy beds, and bedding. Loved this stay!"

"Delightful in located blocks from the ocean in Castine. Really great breakfast, bikes available to use, good wifi. There was a power outage due to a storm while I was there and while the building didn't have a generator, breakfast was still served the next morning and I noticed very little difference to the inn's normal procedures. "The hotel is lovely! Our room 203 was well appointed and spacious (living area, kitchen, dining table, separate bedroom and bath). The gas fireplace in the living room was a nice touch. "Property was very nice and clean. Just 3 cabins on site so a small establishment. The owner/manger seemed nice. There were pastries etc for breakfast but we had bagels with us which we toasted in the toaster in the cabin and had with some nice hot coffee. The roon was mostly well appointed. The bed was a bit soft for us but others may like it. Best part is you can walk to the lighthouse which makes great sense during sunset times. "
