Charming rustic cottage with lots of privacy and nearby ocean access features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and is perfect for your family wanting to be only 22 miles to the entrance to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The cottage is very convenient to shopping and restaurants in Blue Hill and Ellsworth and a great lobster shack is just a few miles away.

The master bedroom features a queen size bed on the main floor. There is a bath with tub/shower combo and vanity. There is a washer & dryer on the main floor. The large upstairs bedroom has a double bed and two twin beds.

The kitchen is stocked for your basic cooking needs. All bed linens and towels are included. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon drinks in the sunroom watching for the local wildlife - deer, turkey, and eagles to name just a few. There is a lovely yard for children play time and the ocean is just an easy minute walk away.

Great cottage by the water
We had a great stay! It’s a small cottage but perfect for our family of 4 (plus one dog). Love the location by the water which we visited each day. The boys even went in even in the chilly May weather! Loved our stay overall. Thank you!

Huckleberry Ledge was the perfect spot. Had everything I needed. Very comfortable and quiet. Not to far from Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. The beach area needs some cleanup.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Surry. This house was just what we needed between stuffy hotel stays in Portland and York. Good kitchen, outdoor grill, plenty of room to spread out, comfy beds, and ping pong in the garage w family. Just great!

We had a great stay at the house. It’s clean, easy to get in and out, and has everything we needed. Check in and check out processes were easy and straightforward. We drove to Acadia four times during our six-night stay. It took about 45-50 minutes one way each time. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby town Ellsworth where we had nice dinners, did grocery and gift shopping, etc.

So serene
We had a fabulous day at Huckleberry Ledge. While some things may be a little dated, the location and ambience more than made up for it. I loved walking down to the water every day and sitting in the sunroom. I do wish the main bedroom skylight had a way to block out the light like the rest of the black out blinds in that room. Would love to come back!

Beautiful Cottage
This property is clean, well maintained, and well stocked. It was a perfect size for our family of 4. It is exactly as advertised. Our kids loved that the tv had their favorite apps to watch their shows. We loved the privacy and beauty of location.

Trip was awesome, the house was clean and had extra games for the family to enjoy. Fairly close to anything you want to go or do and being so close to the bay provides a great addition to a vacation property! Great communication from host and fully furnished for cooking.

This was a great getaway to a very peaceful quiet location with a very private beach area in a cove with a great view of fishing boats. Very convenient to Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor and Ellsworth. So much to do and so little time!

Amazing private paradise in downeast Maine
My family of four, two boys ages 8 and 10 had a wonderful stay. We easily traveled to and from Acadia, enjoyed tracking the low and high tide at the beautiful cove, and were able to easily get to Bangor for an afternoon when it was raining. The property was ideal. I loved relaxing with my morning coffee in the all seasons room and having easy access to grocery stories in Ellsworth allowed us to stay in for many of our meals.

Property was very nice. My only concern was the different levels of flooring on the first floor and the bathroom. Not as easy to move around for an older couple. Very nicely furnished and a good location.

Beautiful escape
Beautiful, comfortable and well kept property. Privacy is excellent. The glass room is the pearl of the cottage, but the rest is great, too. A lot of wood trimmed walls and details. The smell of wood is lovely inside. The cottage is surrounded by trees. The cove beach is two minutes away by walking through the wooded area, and is quite wide and beautiful when the tide is low. It's a great spot to see a sunset over quiet water. We are so happy with our stay. Thank you!
