"Villas Nicolas is beautiful and we were so happy with our stay! The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast each morning was a lovely , and the grounds and pool were exceptional. The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants, the beach (20 min), and even Manuel Antonio NP if you're up for a little hike. Public transit runs regularly and is inexpensive to get to around the area. Lovely stay! If were ever back in CS, we'll be back at Villas Nicolas! "

"The property is very quaint, the rooms are large and fit our family of 6 just fine. The staff is great, the pool is amazing, and the views of the beautiful trees and wildlife were top notch. Each day a family of macaws would fly over the hotel while we were eating breakfast, it was breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"Nice clean place with friendly staff, with a pool by the forest, a quiet spot for yoga/meditation/massage, and paths in the forest where we saw squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys and scarlet macaws. The pool has a few missing tiles but, apart from that minor thing, everything else was nicely kept and clean."

"What a gorgeous place; we visited here for a couple days and wish it was longer! We will be back. Communication from Villas De La Selva was excellent with Simon setting up a tour for us and providing important information. He was there with a friendly smile to greet us when we arrived; he showed us to our villa and was available throughout our visit. The room itself was exactly as described and had an incredible view of the ocean. We made ourselves breakfasts here in the mornings and had visits...

"An amazing location near Manuel Antonio national park and short walk to the beach.although it is currently under renovation it was not a problem at all.will definitely stay there again.great price for spacious apartment "

"We (4 adults) enjoyed our stay very much. Finding this hidden treasure off the main road was a little difficult the first time, but we learned the visual landmarks quickly. We felt VERY secure inside the Suites and it was quiet and relaxing. Located in a neighborhood, we had very pleasant interactions with the local residents and frequented the grocery store nearby. David, the Manager, was WONDERFUL with communication and photos showing us where to park, how to gain entrance and get to our rooms...
