"I had a great stay overall—staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the service was excellent. However, the décor and facilities feel outdated and could benefit from a modern facelift. The atmosphere reminded me of a nursing home, which might not appeal to all guests. Updating the interiors could really elevate the guest experience and match the level of service provided. "We had an amazing stay at this cabin in Slaty Fork! The location was perfect just a short drive to Snowshoe Mountain, making it super convenient for skiing. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The fireplace and hot tub made for the perfect spot to relax after a long day on the slopes, and the scenic surroundings added to the charm. The host was great, responsive and helpful throughout our stay."
