"Black Bear Lodge was a great location for a reunion of friends and family that have been skiing together for nearly forty years. We love Snowshoe and the lodge was exceptionally convenient to Cupp Run. We had 14 adults and two children and we were all comfortable. Our host was great with communication and provided everything in the lodge needed for enjoyment. "House was clean and good location to Snowshoe ski resort"

"Spent the long weekend skiing with a friend, my daughter, and her friends. The house was amazing. The bathrooms are brand new and the rooms were perfect. I liked the master on the first floor. The hot tub was a bonus but the lid had a poor design. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. We were disappointed the fireplace did not work. The shuttle to the ski mountains was superb and an absolute bonus. We would definitely stay again."

"Lovely house! We had a ton of snow and it was difficult to get to the property. Luckily we had 4W drive, which is a must. The only thing lacking was coffee mugs. There were 5 which is inadequate for a house that sleeps 20, but otherwise it was well equipped and comfortable."

"Was able to walk to and from lifts even during spring low tide. At the top of Powder Monkey lift. Plenty in the cabin to keep the non-snowboarders and skiers busy. Good wifi if you have to work Plenty of cookware and dishes."

"Me and a group of friends rented this place out for spring break and it was amazing. The house was super clean upon arrival and included many amenities. The house is also located about a 2 minute walk to the ski slope which was a huge plus. Also you can’t beat the view of the sunset on the front porch. The owner Phil is super friendly and easy to get in contact with if needed. Me and my friends will definitely be planning a trip back up here soon."

"We had wonderful time. It was a gorgeous place to stay. Loved how it was in a wooded area away from others. The house was well kept and clean. The only inconvenience was the host would show up without any notice. Coming to check to see if we needed the trash taken or needed anything else is nice and fine but would have liked a notice that they were coming by."

"The property and location were great for day and night skiing at Silver Creek. Catching the free campus bus around the mountain was a piece of cake from this location. couldn't have been much easier. The bunk bed room in the basement was a huge hit with the children and the place was excellent for multiple families to hang out and enjoy their time on the mountain. This is a really cool spot with everything you need to have a comfortable stay."

"We really enjoyed the house. Had a great time with our group. As mentioned in the previous reviews, one of the bathrooms was not working, driveway was a little difficult to get up during the blizzard weekend, but truthfully loved the house! Hot tub was a big hit, and being on the shuttle route was super convenient. Would return!"

"Overall, this is a great property and a great location. Very nice yard, nice lot with privacy. A few minor issues that I would say are typical to a rental property (Cabinet doors slightly out of level, typical wear and tear on furniture) but nothing to detract me from staying here again! Lots of amenities provided"
