"The family that run the hotel make the experience they are really helpful and accommodating. Helped us book Halong Bay tour and our bus back to Hanoi. Spoke good English which is helpful. Rooms were a little dated but were comfortable and a decent size. For the price you can not fault this hotel. Would recommend. "

"The criuise we are on is the Amanda Deluxe Cruise. The Good - the staffs are friendly and always served with a smile. I'd like to praise our tour manager Ariel specially for her professionalism. She lost her cellphone while trying to keep guest from falling off the bamboo boat. "Trip from the wharf on the tender (boat big enough to fit 40 or so people) took about 40 minutes to get out to the boat moored out in Halong Bay. Had set menu lunch and dinner tasting menu food was good. Room was comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Bathroom nice with porthole window in the shower.
