"Hotel was awesome. Staff was friendly. Pool was clean, our room was super comfortable. Breakfast was yummy. Waffles, fresh fruit. Yogurt, oatmeal, juice, cereal boxes, milk, hardboiled eggs, omlet, chicken sausage, toast, bagels, muffins. All sirts if toppings for waffles and add uns for oatmeal. I wonderful tea selection as well as different types of coffee. Will definitely come back here next time we are in the area."

"The only negative I have to say is upon arrival at 230ish we were trying to access the elevator for the fourth floor and a staff member occupied the elevator that opened. She had two carts full of bed linen. The issue we had was she appeared to be hanging out in the elevator listening to music on her phone. This restaurant has been in Galax, Va for many years. They serve old fashioned burgers, hotdogs and milkshakes for cheap. I feel like this represents the Appalachia region because it represents community. Every time I have been in this restaurant, it feels like your home. Everyone is so kind and the people who are customers all know each other who are natives to Galax. I think that the the atmosphere of this drive in/dine represents the entire atmosphere that I have gotten from people in this region of the United States. People are always so kind to each other and make you feel like you belong no matter your background. #appalchianechoes
