"The hotel is lovely but coukd do with a few tweaks here and there. My window wouldnt close, towel rail was hanging on for dear life and nowhere to put shower gel/soap in the shower. Could do with a mini shelf in the shower. My room was next to a little utilities room containing a microwave, washings machine, dryer etc. This wad not great due to a couple deciding to do their washing at midnight. "The monastery has beautiful gardens to explore in any weather. The accommodation itself is spartan and authentic to the purpose, but is still good material value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for the gardens alone, but the unique experience is also an attraction."

"The lounge was good. The bed was good. Dirty marks on linen/pillow cases. No tea towel. No milk for tea or coffee. Holes in under the window. Dirty marks on walls."

"We booked 2 rooms for 3 adults and only 1 room was available. The staff blamed Expedia and we will never know the truth of the matter. We ended up with having a Z bed to accommodate the 3rd adult. The bar was closed by 8.30PM when we got back to the hotel, and none of us could sleep until the early hours due to all the noise outside, people screaming and boy racers screaming past. "

"Great location. Apartment reached expectations. Only issue that I arrived early from international flight if 12 hours duration. Asked them if I can get in the apartment when I was just an hour and half earlier than the check in time. But there was no cooperation had to wait outside with my luggage until time reached. "

"First impressions on driving up were worrying, as the exterior is poor, with the front littered with cigarette butts, and no parking (a sign on the wall would be helpful as it look as though you can park there). The room though was a good size & very clean with a good shower, plenty of channels on the TV including streaming. had a good nights sleep which is the main thing though so that's okay "

"Such a bad check in. Took 15-20 minutes to get me into the room, which was terrible. Pictures on adverts did not represent the place. Shared bathroom with no toilet seat. Just such a bad experience. I prepaid for 2 nights and paid for another hotel second night so I didn’t have to stay. "
