"My start was great! The room was clean enough (someone left Taco Bell in the fridge). The fridge was large and cold. There was a microwave as well. A table to work at and a table to eat at (chairs for both). Right on the lake was a big plus! A lot of folks hanging out in the parking lot. Don’t bother me none but it may bother others!"

Bob was an amazing host who very forth coming with information and his kindness was top notch. The cleaning ladies made sure the place was spectacular and stocked up. "

"The Thatcher is a beautiful property and most of the staff is friendly and helpful. The main drawback for us as folks in their 70's was the lack of an elevator that necessitated a steep climb to the 3rd floor with all our luggage with no allocated staff to help (we did get help from a female staff who was courageous enough to carry a heavy suitcase up all those steps). "The rooms at the Rainbow Lodge are undergoing a significant upgrade. As we arrived, they were just re-hanging the door to our bathroom. Charles, the manager, does a great job of managing the work, and we were very comfortable with the accommodations. Our room was freshly painted, with new linen on the bed and blackout curtains on the windows. It also looked like we had a new microwave and minifridge.
