After confirming the hatu card wasn't blocked and had sufficient funds, I went to Hotels.com but oinadvertently booked a room at a different Motel 6 im Oceanside. "Really solid for an inexpensive hotel located very near the beach. Clean rooms, recently updated, easy check-in, pool. Perfect for a place where you just need to put your stuff down while you're enjoying all that SoCal has to offer. Cons were minor: the "breakfast area" was really just a counter in the lobby with coffee and some prepackaged snacks, and the hotel is located right next to the freeway. Overall, however, it was a great bang for the buck and I would definitely stay here again."
