This was certainly a nice spot to stay that was fairly close to shopping and restaurants and easy access to the downtown area as well as a beautiful and natural beach area. My only problem was that it was a little noisy and that's partly to do with the age of the building. The staff was great and moved me to another room that was much more quiet and enjoyable.

My stay at La Casa del Camino was ok, i didn’t enjoy it to the fullest like i thought i would. USB outlets weren’t working I couldn’t charge my phone through the night and I had his own the next day. The Internet also wasn’t working; the access kept giving error msg. It’s very old style building and so a lot of things where in defect like the bathroom, for example, was unusually colder than the rest of the room. They didn’t have an installed heater rather a portable heater that wasn’t really effective. The shower water wasn’t all that hot. And if neighbors close the door or stomped on the floor, you would hear it immediately; the walls are thin!!

The location is incredible, the views breathtaking and the building amazing, however the standout of the trip was the front desk worker Ivano - i had originally only booked for 2 nights. Due to his exceptional service and help, where he went above and beyond any expectations one could have, i ended extending an entire week longer and i am still here! Thank you Ivano and I hope management sees this and appreciates you the way you deserve (I literally this morning was waiting in line to talk with another person working there and heard a lady saying how wonderful Ivano had been to HER as well!!) Kindness when it is not deliberately visible simply must be acknowledged!

A bit old & run down but very clean & great area of Laguna beach. Close & walking distance to many shops & restaurants. My room had a pickaboo view of the ocean but walking distance to the ocean is few steps. Didn’t try the roof top restaurant so can’t comment on it. I would recommend the facility to clean the windows & definitely change the blinds. Overall a good place with modest price to stay.

Having stayed at this property a considerable amount over the past 20 years, had not been back since covid. While the property is old, it seems the R & M is not keeping up . My room was horrible , had an unpleasant smell, Bathroom was awful with sink outside in the room. Shower was pitiful , water just dribbled out. Mattress on bed probably should have been replaced 10 years ago. Felt like it had no structure to it when you lay on it.....then, in this tiny room there is a monster A/C unit sitting in the middle. TV continued to loose connection, then after 5 min or so, come back on. I'm afraid its now time to say 'goodbye'.!

We love Casa Del Camino! My husband and I have been visiting since 2017, and it never disappoints. It has such a charming European boutique vibe. The rooftop bar is a standout feature with stunning views, and the location is unbeatable. Highly recommend!

Great rooftop bar overlooking the ocean. This is the first hotel that I’ve ever stayed in that only had a streaming service for television, which didn’t allow us to watch football games.

The property is in a good location and the rooftop bar has really nice views. Now for the room it was clean but there were numerous issues number one the phone doesn't work so we can't call the front desk for anything. Second the TV doesn't work completely we can only watch a couple apps and no local or cable channels. It was nice of the night front desk guy to come upstairs and get at least the couple apps. However this is unacceptable that we don't have a working phone and TV in a room that charged me over $200 a night. Also, the water being shut off this has not been a good experience at this hotel and for the price you charge I expected better than what I have received and I will not be returning or recommending this property.

The hotel is beautiful. It’s also older so expect that. Our room was fine, but much smaller than we realized. The bed & armoire (which was unnecessary) took up most of the room. I honestly felt like I was in a closet or dollhouse. Also, we could hear our neighbors talking next door. The walls are very thin. It’s a nice in that it’s conveniently located & if you don’t plan to spend much time in the room, it’s fine. The suites might be bigger. I would consider that if you want to relax in your room. I also thought the room had a weird smell which may have been the oil diffuser?

Very much enjoy this hotel. Very close to the beach. Downtown Laguna Beach is also very nice. The room itself, however, is very small. But if you don't intend on spending much time in the room, the overall hotel is nice.
