"Staff was terrific. Hotel is older, but kept up and very clean. My bed was comfortable and the room overlooked the airport. As I was there on Palm Sunday, not many dining choices nearby so, I walked to the airport and had an early supper at the Aviation bar, great Ahi poke bowl. I took a taxi back to the hotel, as walking was kind of dangerous, no sidwalks and it woukd have been a tiresome hike up the very steep hill. "The hotel has bungalows and the restaurant is on the water. It is located directly on the beach in a very nice bay. The restaurant is very good but breakfast is too expensive for the food offered. You need a car to reach it from the airport or the harbor, and to move around the island. No public transportation and taxis are quite expensive."

The onsite restaurant serves very high quality food and a simple breakfast is included. The hotel sits oceanfront on a beautiful area of the lagoon with rays, sharks and fish cruising by all day. Air conditioned rooms which is rare in Tahiti and kayaks included, good for family on a budget. "
