"I found hotel nice clean no friles tv did not work no coffee or tea or milk but did have a ketle and two cups and no on sweat forcilites just a sink in room therr eas a barth and toilet just down hall which was Clean which was no problime to me I had a grate sleep in bed the next time I go to redcar i will be stopping at the same hotel just loved it thanks for having me there."

"Really comfy place. Room was spot on. When the gentleman showed me the room. He noticed a mark on the duvet. (It was nothing really). It looked like they’d maybe rested the vacuum on the bed & it had left a bit of dirt. The gentleman changed the duvet cover there & then. I ordered my breakfast & unfortunately I slept in. When I left I apologised & they couldn’t have been nicer about it. Spot on place , would stay again."

"When I arrived there was no one to show me to my room. I phoned the number on my booking but they could not find any record of me having booked with the itinerary number I was given. They gave me another number to call, eventually they found the booking and said ‘the man is coming’. This turned out to be a maintenance man who was very unwell (flu I presume). "The fokes at Halmer Grange were warm and very welcoming to us from the moment we arrived till the time we left. The property was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this guest house to anyone traveling in North East England. "

"We had a fantastic 1 night stay here. Val, the host, was super friendly and welcoming. She couldn't do enough for us and made a lovely breakfast. The location is great, 5mins walk into town and ideally situated for exploring the Yorkshire moors, towns and coastlines."
