"We don't get away very often and finding an affordable price with Astor, made our trip possible. The rooms were clean with communal spaces to; mingle, pay games, watch movies, plus a communal kitchen. However we chose to stick to our room as we planned as most of our time would be spent in the city. A easy walk to the city centre plus a bus for those that struggle right out side the hostel. "The Briarcroft Wayth Hotel is a small boutique hotel and great place to stay. Parking is easy to find, the sitting area is lovely. They provide a guest kitchen with refrigerator dishwasher sink, etc., as well as tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. The rooms are nice, although some are still under renovation. The staff is helpful and friendly. My only wish was that the mattress had a soft mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable. Other than that it was a great stay!"

"I would recommend a stay here for the fabulous central location. The room was clean and check in instructions were very clear. Please be aware there was no reception as such, but if needed you can leave your luggage at the bar next door, and there were emergency contacts listed. We didn't need any of this but good to know. There were a couple of bottles of water in the room and some discount vouchers, all of which were an unexpected bonus. The kitchenette was handy if you wanted to make a drink...

"We had a couple of nights stay in the New Inn and it was a lovely clean comfortable place. Great check in and access to a fridge, plates and cutlery if you need it. Chinese restaurant just a minute walk away which was really good. There was a fish and chip place too but unfortunately it was closed while we were staying. Would definitely recommend staying here though, nice safe friendly little village with a great community shop five minute walk away. "
