"Superb Hilton -- absolutely phenomenal professional and welcoming front desk staff. Excellent location directly across from the historic Clifford's Tower, and in very close walkable proximity to so much of what makes this city so magical -- less than ten minutes from The Shambles and some of the best cask ale pubs in the region. The hotel and our room looks like it's recently greatly benefited from a good refurbishment (and smells a bit too much like it, too - a small negative). An excellent and affordable choice for a stay. "

"Had an excellent nights stay in York at this hotel . Parking arranged in advance on line at q park The Shambles which was approximately a five minutes walk away . I used the hotels discount code obtained by ringing them and this cost £19 for 24 hours There is a car park much nearer to the hotel which may be worth checking as it may be cheaper. Couldn't find any fault with the hotel . Excellent location . Marvellous staff who were friendly and professional , and managed to get us checked in early. The room was spotless with a comfy bed , big shower , hair shampoo/conditioner, body lotion, hairdryer , iron and board and a small fridge . The buffet breakfast was superb with a great selection of hot and cold food There was even a waffle maker for use. The hotel is a few minutes walk from The Shambles and there are plenty of bars, restaurants , and shops nearby. I honestly couldn’t fault the Hampton by Hilton , and look forward to staying there again on our next visit to fabulous York "

"Anna on reception was first rate….. allowed an early check in and went out of her way to ensure we had a good stay. Location is perfect for exploring York, near the Minster and walking distance to all attractions and bars."

"Moxy York is a great location - a short walk to the main attractions, good places to eat etc. The hotel is bright and clean and modern. A great environment for chilling, having breakfast and the complimentary drink is a nice touch. The rooms were very peaceful. Staff are all friendly and really helpful. Nothing is too much for them. We will definitely be staying again."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit of a nightmare as its so busy and not just for hotel guests. Hotel has some beautiful features. Our room was very large and comfortable, a little tired in places but that is the usual when you book a dog room. The dog bed and bowl was a nice touch. Food was very nice. I would 100% stay again."
