"The IBIS budget is a clean and nice enough hotel for the money. It's nearest tram stop is Kronenberg. It's about 30-40 mins into the centre. We paid for breakfast which was continental and very nice. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It was clean. Very basic rooms so no tea and coffee facilities in the room we had (906) and it did get quite hot. Aircon went to 18 degs no lower so bit hot at night. "The hotel is in a cool historic building right on a canal. Be prepared for the stairs, there isn’t an elevator. The room was really small, but the window opened and we had our own tiny bathroom. The staff and owner were absolutely wonderful. I can’t say enough nice things about them. There is also a nice lounge area in the lobby and a smoking lounge downstairs. If traveling on a budget, I would stay here again."
