"Our room was beautiful 5* Luxury. We encountered an issue the first night, not the fault of the hotel, however when notified they went out of their way to investigate and resolve the issue. In the interim, they offered us another room and partial refund if we wanted it. "Fairly large room, good view of the town, central location. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, kettle in room. even an iron and ironing board. The TV was small but worked well. Access is via a long staircase over 3 floors pending on which room you get, best to travel light or it can be bit of a haul. We have used ML lodge before and would use it again, its great value for money. One tip, lock your door from inside/outside as it does not lock automatically on closure to avoid unexpected interruptions...

The property is clean and practical, but could do with a few tidying up jobs doing. I haven't had to pay a deposit on any other holiday accommodation we have stayed in, it was refunded to us. "
