"This is the best place to stay in Rocamadour. The hotel is located next to the main lookout point offering views of the old town. The path leading down to the old town starts next to the hotel. The view from the restaurant is wonderful. Rooms on one side have a view, others do not. The restaurant and bar are good. The staff are attentive, energetic, and friendly. Rooms are spotless. "It’s a 40 minute walk down hill, along the cobbled sidewalks, right the way through town to get to the hotel. It’s an old hotel, and I would say it’s in need of attention. Very, very narrow, steep stairs to climb with luggage. Noisy in the hallways as people enter and leave their rooms. And if you get the single bedroom, beware the distance between the toilet and the wall is so tight, you will have to sit sideways. Also the absolute hardest bed I’ve ever slept in. Honestly felt like cement....

"The restaurant is Amazing and the staff are fabulous. Our room was quite run down though. The mattress had a huge dip in the middle of it. So uncomfortable. We had no hot water the day we checked I. Otherwise it was a lovely stay "

"Really good despite the weather. No evening meal but lots of restaurants close by. Night entrance meant that you could enter hotel as late as you wanted. Beautiful village. Lots of places to visit nearby, staff really friendly and helpful. Lots of car parking, either right outside the hotel or in the square. We used the hotel as a base to go sightseeing and as such it suited us fine. Highly recommended. "
