"We arrived at this location and met with the owner and did not unpack or stay there. We have raised a claim (beware that this is booked through a separate agency Herez who once you have paid take very little interest or care. We took pictures and sent to Vrbo and Agency Herez of brown stained pillows, old bed blankets, broken and filthy shower and the whole place is old and tired. Nothing like the pictures on the website. We have tried to claim for a refund and Vrbo just passed us over to the...

"Property is located at the top of a hill overlooking Domme. The views of Domme and the property itself are amazing. The pictures don’t due it justice. Owner is super helpful and responsive to all questions."

"It is difficult to find new words to add to previous glowing reports in praise of this beautiful house and its stunning grounds. The accommodation was perfect for our party of six, with the lower ground floor bedrooms providing extra privacy and separate access. "We booked this property as a girl holiday getaway for my 40th birthday celebrations. Overall we had a nice stay and found the location great to be able to visit some really stunning towns and villages nearby including Dome, Rocamadour and also had the opportunity to do cannoing in the Dordogne river as it’s such a great spot for it. "This was an excellent property that caters for all age groups. The property was large enough to cope with 8 adults and a baby. It was a 10 minute walk out of Sarlat so easy for early morning croissants or walking back from an evening meal. We had on incident which was quickly dealt with by the owner. "Overall experience of the property: - Owners friendly, with a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival - Fantastic pool and a lovely garden - Superb location to visit all of the key areas / sights within the Dordogne Few points to note: - The stairs in the property are very steep, therefore, not suitable for young children or the elderly - The wifi didn't work very well and was intermittent - not a deal breaker but useful to have - Very hot upstairs as no fans or a/c - again not a deal breaker...

"We had a magical stay in January and had wonderful and rapid communication with the owners about our check in and check out. The Gite has everything you need and it's such a cosy and idyllic setting. We plan to stay again very soon!"

"Renovated old hotel, nicely done. Adjacent old town. Excellent location! Friendly and helpful check-in person. Our room, #115, was tastefully furnished and clean. (zero art, but not missed). Radiator heat, safe, refrigerator , too small area for toiletries for two, and a shower-bath in desperate need of a grab bar before someone gets hurt. Comfortable bed. Pretty good breakfast which we had once of the three mornings we were there. Parking lot, free overnight, is directly in front of hotel."
